Hi! I'm Emily (she/her), but you can call me Em!
I'm a Brazilian-American performer and artist originally from Miami, passionate about immersive interdisciplinary theatre.
Recently, I received a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from the University of Florida (gay goters!) and a special certificate in the art of incessantly asking,
"oK... bUt whHy?"
Professionally speaking, I've been taking musical theatre WAAAYYY too seriously for about 10 years now and one day hope to open my own community space/theatre company hybrid.
My energy is infectious (or so I've been told) and I only know how to give 110%. I love the art of a good television series (ask me about the power of an accessible easily-digestible short-form narrative), over-explaining, Brandi Carlile and Japanese food. I firmly believe my friends are the greatest gift on earth, second only to coffee.
To stay up to date check out my instagram or Facebook pages and if you've got a question feel free to reach out!
Thanks for stopping by,

What's new?
Aug2022-Jan2023
Emily is ecstatic to announce that she will be joining the Busch Gardens Williamsburg team as a Park Swing! From August 2022 through January 2023 you can find her on the vocal swing track for the Howl-O-Scream season in Monster Stomp, Phantoms of the Festhaus and Skeletons! Later in the Christmas Town season you can catch her in Up On the Haustop and England Carolers!
APRIL 2022
In the Spring of 2022 Emily graduated from the University of Florida's School of Theatre and Dance with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance!
She knows she will miss her class desperately but cannot wait to see what they accomplish!
OCTOBER 2021
Serving as the basis for her thesis, Emily took on the challenge of reinterpreting the role of Charlotte in Sondheim's
A Little Night Music.
Rather than taking a traditional approach to the character, Emily used Charlotte as a vehicle to explore reinventing 20th century two-dimensional women characters for a 21st century audience.
